King of the Tech Startup – Eric Pulier
Dating back as far as his grade school years, those who watched and witnessed the inspiration and drive of the young boy who in the fourth grade had already grown an affinity for computer programing, knew that Eric Pulier was destined for greatness.
After graduating from Harvard University in 1988, Mr. Pulier wasted no time establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of enterprise technology. He made the move to Los Angeles, California where he founded People Doing Things (PDT), a company that aided in addressing healthcare, education and similar issues through the use of technology. Eric was off and running, this being the first of many new tech businesses that he would found or co-found over the next several years.
To the core of Pulier’s success is his innate ability to recognize potential from what might otherwise be looked upon as little more than a glimmer of an idea by others. Mainly in the realm of enterprise software and cloud computing, Mr. Pulier’s track record of getting behind a long string of winners has fostered great name recognition for himself which at times has created a bit of a bidding frenzy amongst venture capitalist who want to be the ones tied to the funding of Eric Pulier’s latest startup success story. And with over 20 such stories on his resume, it’s no wonder why.
While he calls Los Angles home and is where he resides full time with his four children, Eric is said to be one of the greatest minds in Silicon Valley, a title that would be difficult to dispute.
